Direct answer

Every plant in Tiny Eden needs four things: the right planter volume for its stage, the right soil mix, a matching light + temperature spot in your apartment, and regular water. Plant Info in-game is the source of truth for exact values β€” this database mirrors it and notes where 1.0 data is still being captured.

The game groups plants into flowers, berries and vegetables. Each one grows through stages; some must be transplanted into a bigger planter, others are happy for their whole life in one pot. Soil is made from components such as compost, sand and clay, and getting the mix wrong is one of the most common reasons a plant stops growing.

Entity pages live now

Only plants that clear the Plant Entity Gate earn their own URL. Everything else stays listed here until 1.0 data passes the gate. Two launch-week priority entities are already live:

Plants are added in production waves. Status follows the indexing rules: VERIFIED pages are indexed, PARTIAL pages only when they have independent search intent, and data below the gate stays merged here.

What to check per plant

  • Planter volume β€” stages often require a step up in pot size; transplanting is a separate mechanic.
  • Soil mix β€” assign your plant and the game shows target components; overfill or wrong soil blocks growth.
  • Light and temperature β€” each plant has a preferred band; wrong placement causes slow growth or wilting.
  • Water β€” overwatering and underwatering look different; check the plant-health page for symptoms.
  • Companions and pollination β€” some plants help neighbours or need pollination to fruit.
  • Recipes and genetics β€” plants feed the cookbook, orders and the research lab.

Evidence note

Specialist sites list ~40 plants, but exact stage Γ— planter Γ— soil values are incomplete across the web. We are capturing Plant Info records from the current 1.0 build; values not yet verified are marked *unknown / pending* instead of guessed.

MIXED

Some sites mix May playtest, July demo and 1.0 plant behavior in one page. Treat any plant value without a build label as unverified.
